OVERVIEW
VIA 57 is a 33-story asymmetrical, pyramid-shaped, luxury residential apartment building on the West side of Manhattan. The design of the building ensured each apartment a view of the Hudson but created a unique challenge for JDP's engineering team.
Our drafting and design experts factored in the building’s taper from all sides and designed custom piping configurations to support all apartment units.
The installation of piping, ductwork, and conduit, required precise configurations and planning.
In all, JDP Mechanical managed, designed, fabricated, and installed the chiller plant, boiler room, cooling towers, air handlers & fan coil units, pool dehumidification unit, radiant heating and cooling for the lobby, and 1200-heat pumps for each apartment.
